Job Title
Moab Youth Garden Project: Assistant Grower & Volunteer Lead (AmeriCorps)
Overview AmeriCorps program by the Utah Conservation Corps focused on developing conservation leaders of tomorrow. Engage in projects that address environmental conservation, leadership, education, and workforce development across Utah.
Responsibilities
Assist Farm Manager with day‑to‑day operations of the farm and greenhouse facilities.
Lead volunteer crews in planting, weeding, and harvesting activities.
Learn and apply sustainable organic desert farming practices.
Support community food security and provide garden‑based education to over 1,000 Utah kids.
Program Details Duration: 675 hours; service period April 1 – August 12 2026 (approx.)
Supervisor: Ben Menard, Farm Manager.
Full‑time schedule.
Location: Utah (UT).
