Base pay range $19.00/hr - $20.00/hr
Job Summary This position works with program participants, volunteers, staff and community partners to help implement Home & Community-Based Program (HCBP) activities in the community. The HCBP Assistant supports the daily operations of HCBP.
Essential Job Functions
Answers phone calls and emails and provides information and referral assistance to program participants for supportive services.
Provides administrative support such as scanning, supply inventory, etc.
Creates social media posts and program promotion materials and updates website as needed.
Assists staff with data collection, maintaining program forms, and scheduling.
Assists with participant and volunteer onboarding and training.
Attends meetings with staff and partner organizations.
Escorts seniors in the community as needed.
Qualifications
High School Diploma required.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in program planning and development, outreach, intake and referral, customer service, human or social services, gerontology, social work, public health, ethnic studies, or related field preferred.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Google Calendar, Canva, Social Media required.
Knowledge of Adobe and live-streaming software preferred.Effective English communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual a plus!
Experience with organizing and conducting programs for older adults preferred.
Knowledge of class and/or volunteer scheduling procedures, community resources and event organization.
Experience working with grants a plus.
Must be flexible and willing to work occasionally on weekends or evenings as needed.
