Position Summary A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service. When there is no manager or Operations Supervisor onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures that store operations run smoothly, and is responsible for ensuring the completion of all opening and closing procedures.
Essential Functions
Lead the store staff, ensuring all opening and closing procedures are completed on time.
Work effectively with store management and store crews to execute daily operational tasks.
Supervise the store’s crew through assignment, direction and follow‑up of all activities.
Effectively communicate information both to and from store management and crews.
Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints; promote a positive shopping experience.
Maintain customer/patient confidentiality at all times.
Price merchandise, stock shelves, and execute displays and signage for weekly, promotional and seasonal merchandise.
Execute off‑shelf merchandise displays and reset departments following POGs.
Required Qualifications
Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
Advanced communication and supervision skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a retail supervisor.
Education High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred but not required).
Hourly/Time Type Part‑time, 29 hours per week.
Pay Range $19.65 – $28.65 per hour.
