Job Overview
Strategic Sourcing Specialist (US) at Resonant Clinical Solutions. Works independently under supervision to execute buying strategies that maximize savings, reduce risk, and improve the P&L in a highly regulated industry such as medical device or biopharmaceuticals. Key Responsibilities
Owner of strategic supplier relationships: selection, qualification, onboarding, performance monitoring, and management. Support and participate in contract negotiations. Handle new item and supplier requests, product launches, promotions, and discontinuations. Identify and implement key cost‑saving initiatives related to sourcing. Assess global network constraint issues and recommend ways to reduce or eliminate constraints. Proactively analyze and suggest replenishment strategies to optimize inventory investment. Identify and correct Supply Chain constraints (disruptions in supply). Evaluate suppliers based on capability, performance, and delivery; conduct proactive reviews to prevent or minimize stock‑outs and improve delivery dates and lead time. Embrace innovation, stay alert to process improvement opportunities, and lead process improvement projects when appropriate. Maintain a growth mindset, display initiative to acquire new knowledge, and take accountability for ongoing development. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
BS degree in Purchasing, Business, Supply Chain Management or related field; MBA a plus. 3+ years working in a strategic sourcing capacity in a highly regulated industry such as medical device or biopharmaceuticals. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP ERP systems. Analytical skills: cost‑benefit, ROI, landed cost, ROI, total landed cost, and ability to analyze large data sets using Tableau, PowerBI, etc. Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience in a matrix environment desirable. Formal problem‑solving training (Six Sigma) highly desirable. Excellent negotiating skills; formal negotiation training preferred. Strong time management, organizational skills, and focus orientation with attention to detail. Ability to work independently without direct oversight while being a solid team player. Location
