What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Conduct complex analytic studies using statistical techniques on healthcare data to support program decision-making
Present statistical findings in various formats, including charts and graphs, for easy interpretation
Create and maintain efficient statistical and analytic code using tools such as SAS, Stata, and R
Apply statistical modeling techniques to analyze pricing behaviors and stakeholder activities
Ensure data integrity and quality of analysis through rigorous validation techniques
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor's degree in statistics, data science, mathematics, or a related field
Five years of experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, or private healthcare payers as a statistician or healthcare economist
Five years of experience with healthcare data, including pharmacy claims and NDCs
Proficiency in statistical software including SAS, STATA, and R
Advanced knowledge of statistical methods and experience in summarizing and presenting complex findings
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Master's degree in a related field
Knowledge of Medicare payment policy
