Opportunity As AIA Austin grows, we’re adding a Project Coordinator to an early‑career architect or emerging professional who wants hands‑on experience supporting residential or commercial projects while learning the full lifecycle of design and construction in a collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do
Support residential or commercial projects from design development through construction
Assist with the preparation of construction documents and drawing sets
Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and vendors
Help track project schedules, deliverables, and deadlines
Participate in design discussions, reviews, and problem‑solving
Learn best practices for project coordination and client communication
What We’re Looking For
Accredited professional degree in Architecture
2–3 years of experience in an architecture firm
Proficiency in Revit (required)
Working knowledge of construction documents and drawing standards
Familiarity with AutoCAD (beneficial)
Experience with SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite (preferred)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and team‑first mindset
