Facilities Support Manager – Pascagoula
Location: Pascagoula Hospital | Full‑Time | Rotating

Position Overview The Facilities Support Manager supervises department employees and coordinates all Singing River Health System renovation and construction requirements, including any assigned Health System projects and grounds maintenance. He/She works under the direction of the Director of Facilities Support to ensure all projects are completed in a timely, efficient and accurate manner.

Education High school graduate or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree preferred. Completion of an approved technical trade school preferred.
License & Certification N/A
Experience A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in commercial or industrial electrical, mechanical construction or maintenance required. A minimum of two (2) years’ managerial experience in a maintenance or similar vocation required.
Physical Demands Work requires moderate to high amount of physical agility and strength. Activities include ascending/descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching; standing for sustained periods; moving around; pushing; pulling; lifting 50 pounds without assistance; repetitive wrist and hand motions. Work requires ability to receive/exchange detailed information through oral communication. Close visual acuity to analyze, inspect, and measure; identify colors; depth perception; peripheral vision. Environmental conditions include noise, hazards, chemical exposure, and infectious disease exposure.
Mental Demands Strong reasoning and decision‑making skills; superior communication, speaking, and written skills; emotional stability for high stress; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; attention to detail; multitasking; pleasant demeanor; team attitude. Interactions with patients, guests, and Health System employees daily.
Special Demands Superior customer‑service skills and professional etiquette; computer proficiency (keyboard, MS Outlook, telephone, fax); valid driver license and satisfactory driving record; experience reading and interpreting blueprints; exceptional leadership and management skills; familiarity with national/local codes; basic working knowledge of computer‑based building control systems; computerized preventive maintenance programs. May be reassigned to any facility of the Singing River Health System.
