Description
The Treatment Coordinator plays a key role in the clinical supervision and operational guidance of ACP staff, working alongside BCBAs, Behavioral Technicians, and Lead Therapists. The role represents a high level of quality and excellence with regards to ACP’s clinical and operational standards.
Responsibilities
Provide direct care coverage or find coverage for sessions if staff unavailable. Covering sessions when needed is the priority
Monitor proper use of lead and support hours for clients on your caseload
Monitor proper completion of ReThink billing and verifications by staff for clients on your caseload
Train new staff for clients on your caseload
Initial and ongoing scheduling for clients on your caseload
Contact new direct service workers to set up trainings and client sessions with BCBA
Provide support and training to staff during and outside of sessions
Communicate with families regarding client progress and sessions
Be present for scheduled center days until the last client is picked up
Complete Central Reach billing and verifications within 24 hours of events
Schedule weekly consults with BCBAs
Attend weekly intervention team meeting
Create program materials
Check in with staff and clients during sessions
Communicate with BCBA about session observations and help problem solve client maladaptive behaviors
Provide clinical support for staff when lead therapists or BCBAs are unable to
Help staff clean up after sessions and ensure that the center is properly closed up
Help problem solve new and/or unexpected behaviors
After session, communicate to the case BCBA what you observed and any follow up that needs to occur
Coordinate with each BCBA on your caseload and completed weekly meetings
Check in with parent/guardian regarding client’s behaviors and progress at school and in the home
Provide constructive feedback to staff
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Licensure: RBT. Master’s Degree in ABA or current enrollment in a graduate ABA program preferred.
