Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage the company’s Quality Control (QC) program.
Perform and oversee welding inspections in compliance with AWS, ASME, and other applicable codes.
Review welding procedures, qualifications, and documentation.
Ensure proper material traceability, documentation, and record-keeping.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and project management teams to resolve quality issues.
Conduct root-cause analysis and corrective action for non-conformances.
Act as the primary liaison with clients, auditors, and regulatory agencies regarding quality matters.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maintain and enhance quality standards.
Qualifications
Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification required.
2+ years of experience in quality control within manufacturing, steel fabrication, or industrial services.
Strong knowledge of welding codes (AWS, ASME, API, etc.) and inspection techniques.
Proven leadership and management experience.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
