Retail Manager III
Location: Bozeman, MT (Main Branch). First Interstate Bank.
Summary Responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, achieving growth goals, operating efficiencies, and developing Financial Service Representatives in a branch with assets greater than $125M. Producing position.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Facilitates integrated delivery of financial services and products, including customized lending, cash management, investment management, referring clients to appropriate departments.
Manages effective use of customer relationship management software including First 15, recording activities, referrals, marketing.
Ensures operational efficiency, compliance, and quality standards are met.
Participates in and enforces branch security policy.
Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job functions.
Keeps up to date on regulation changes, follows policies and completes required training.
Learns, demonstrates, and fosters corporate culture.
Takes personal initiative and embodies vision, mission, values.
Ensures positive community relations and coordinates with all branches.
Manages and fosters growth in top 25 customer relationships.
Management Responsibilities
Manages branch or multiple branches in market.
Oversees selection, placement, performance, development, promotion, termination of branch employees.
Coaches and mentors all branch employees in required skills, reviewing dashboard performance.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate’s Degree preferred.
4‑6 years banking experience including supervisory or management experience required.
Consumer and Small Business lending origination experience preferred.
Valid Driver’s License required.
Registered Mortgage Loan Officer per SAFE Act required.
Notary Certification preferred.
