Amentum is seeking an
Asset Management Specialist
in
Las Vegas, Nevada
who will oversee asset management responsibilities for all organizations under the RSSII (Range Support Services) contract utilizing the Maximo Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system. The selected person will ensure maintenance practices are standardized, documented and in alignment with industry best practices.
Compensation The annual starting salary rate for this position is $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Essential Responsibilities
Oversees the asset management program for facilities and vehicles across the contract.
Utilizes maintenance operation knowledge and experience to capture asset information, assign tasks, analyze and determine maintenance frequencies to create and maintain maintenance programs on various assets throughout the contract.
Works with department management and technicians to convert existing spreadsheets, databases and tracking tools into recurring preventive maintenance programs within Maximo.
Ensures maintenance job plans align with government directives, task orders, manufacturer’s recommendations, and department supervision expertise to ensure a well‑defined maintenance program.
Accurately tracks vehicle mileage and fuel consumption using meters and time‑based frequencies.
In coordination with site personnel, estimates labor and material requirements for preventive maintenance tasks.
Creates reports and forecasts of upcoming maintenance activities for the purposes of planning labor resources and material budgets, and provides input to contract deliverables as needed.
Understands and applies knowledge of government contracts, performing work standards, statement of works and workload factors to ensure contractual obligations and expectations are demonstrated in daily operations.
Ensures maintenance instructions follow applicable environmental permits and regulations, ensures operations maintenance tasks include safety procedures, and identifies areas requiring additional administration or engineering controls and PPE to eliminate potential safety hazards on job sites.
Works with management to create Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other tools to monitor asset performance.
Provides workforce training and creates desk guides for maintenance programs once established; works closely with department supervisors and administrative staff to ensure program success.
Maintains accurate and up‑to‑date record keeping, ensuring continuity in asset management operations, and keeps a well‑defined tracking system for processes and procedures that is available upon request by management and the customer.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, applicable science, or a combination of applicable experience and education is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in O&M and asset management.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Maximo or similar EAM systems.
Knowledge of DOD O&M plans and ability to access maintenance tasks for multiple asset types including NMD, RS Means, NFPA, federal and state regulatory documents.
Proficient with standard Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience using scheduling applications such as Microsoft Project, Maximo Scheduler or similar planning tools is preferred.
Valid driver's license required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. Note: U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands Typical office environment with no unusual hazards; occasional lifting to 20 pounds; constant sitting while using the computer terminal; constant use of sight and speech/hearing abilities for communication; constant mental alertness; must possess planning/organizing and multitasking skills, and must be able to work under deadlines. Occasional site walkdowns will be required that could include confined spaces, use of ladders, and narrow walkways.
