We are seeking a

Production Supervisor

to lead second‑shift operations at a client production facility in South Windsor, CT. This is a hands‑on leadership role with strong visibility across the business and growth potential.

The production supervisor is responsible for ensuring all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met in a cost‑efficient manner while maintaining high quality and safety standards. This role leads all aspects of labor management on the production floor, prioritizes client mailings, supervises production lines, and coordinates resources across departments to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations Management – Receive materials into the warehouse and distribute to the production floor, sign off on all jobs including material, media, and indicia verification, supervise production lines and ensure machines are running correct jobs, prioritize Must‑Mail and hot jobs to meet all deadlines and SLAs, pull and coordinate jobs from supporting areas (Print Room, Forms, Inkjet, Scheduling)

Team Leadership & Development – Supervise approximately 15–25 associates, ensure all operators receive proper technical, quality, and ISO training, cross‑train associates across production operations, mentor, counsel, and provide performance feedback to staff, conduct performance appraisals and support career development

Planning, Coordination & Efficiency – Coordinate labor and resources across departments, provide warehouse staff with lead times to meet material needs, maintain accurate inventory counts, work with outside vendors to support sorting and labor forecasting, identify and communicate process improvements

Quality & Safety – Ensure all safety standards are met and adhered to, maintain high‑quality production standards

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

3–5 years of warehouse or production experience

3–5 years of supervisory experience

Strong time management and organizational skills

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high‑volume environment

Strong oral and written communication skills

Computer proficiency (Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word)

Experience meeting SLAs in a production environment

Availability to work 2nd shift (4 PM – 12 AM)

Flexible for overtime/weekends

Experience with ISO and quality training
