We are a fast‑growing fleet maintenance network providing mobile preventative maintenance and mechanical repair, tire replacement, and trailer repair services across the Southeast corridor of Michigan and beyond.
About The Brand Fleet Mobile Maintenance (FMM) is a locally run, family‑oriented service that brings on‑site service to customers in Detroit, Ann Arbor, Battle Creek, Lansing, Flint, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Louisville, and Nashville.
Our mission is to follow DOT standards and put customers’ needs first, ensuring equipment remains safe, compliant, rolling, and on time.
The Company Epika is a national network of mobile and in‑shop preventative maintenance centers focused on commercial fleets. Built on partnerships with top providers and private equity firm Ares.
What You’ll Do
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial tractors and trailers.
Write detailed work orders and handle mobile road calls and in‑yard work.
Provide quality customer service.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair semi‑truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components.
Perform preventative maintenance on fleet semi‑trucks and trailers.
Maintain hubs and axles, adjusting or replacing them when required.
Inspect, service, and replace tractor and trailer parts, including tires.
Check and repair brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Test all systems for performance issues.
Ensure trailers meet U.S. DOT road‑safety requirements.
Compile inspection reports, document repairs, and report findings to management.
Respond promptly to client queries.
What You’ll Need to Have
5+ years of verified experience in commercial tractor and trailer repair.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to lift 100+ pounds.
Basic computer skills to submit repairs for billing.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasks.
Basic reading and writing skills for customer repair orders.
What Will Help You Stand Out
Experience with welding; certification is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent; a technical school degree is a plus.
Class A CDL.
