Position Summary The Campus Store Supervisor oversees daily operations and coordinates staffing for the assigned campus location. This role ensures efficient workflow and delivers, high-quality service to both internal and external customers. The Supervisor is responsible for accurate record keeping to support planning, accountability, and effective inventory management. Exceptional customer service skills are essential, as the position serves as a key point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and vendors. This position reports directly to the Associate Chief Financial Officer.
Required Education/Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.), and six (6) months of retail experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
Valid Driver’s License
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities KNOWLEDGE OF:
Applicable Federal, State, and local laws, rules, regulations, codes, and/or statutes related to retail operations; Cash handling principles and practices; Inventory management principles and practices;
Customer service principles; Conflict management principles; Safety procedures; Computer technology software.
DEMONSTRATED SKILLS IN:
Coordinating work for staff; Monitoring and maintaining inventory; Resolving conflict; Ability to defuse anger and establish or restore harmony; Working with diverse academic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds of community college students and staff; Utilizing computer technology used for communication, point of sales, data gathering and generating reports; Communicating effectively through oral and written mediums; Supervising multiple priorities and events simultaneously.

Organizes daily campus store operations by coordinating workflow ensuring consistent, high-quality service.

Oversees store layout, merchandising, and promotional activities, including website product listings.
Duty and Responsibility
Manages inventory levels and ordering of all store products.
Duty and Responsibility
Trains new staff to ensure effective operations and compliance with established policies.

Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to support the campus store mission.
Duty and Responsibility
Oversees cash handling processes, including balancing receipts and preparing deposits.
Duty and Responsibility
Works with individuals to resolve any disputes or operational issues in consultation with the Director of Student Accounts.
Duty and Responsibility
Participates in loss prevention efforts, including researching and investigating discrepancies or potential fraud; may review camera footage and collaborate with the Director of Campus Health, Safety and Security.

Acts as a liaison among store buyers, students, faculty, staff and vendors.

Maintains detailed records of merchandise received, transferred, or sold.

Conducts and oversees store inventory in alignment with policy and auditor recommendations.

Processes all incoming and outgoing mail including (USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc.), operates postage equipment, assists with sorting courier mail and distributing campus wide.
