Job Title Associate Analyst, Networking

Job Description The Associate Analyst role within the Networking department will provide problem‑solving, reporting, project, and training support to the Networking team. The role requires a foundational level of knowledge of all things related to Direct Business and subject‑matter expertise on networking. The Associate Analyst will support the AVP on multiple, possibly overlapping projects. Key abilities include data analysis, use of reporting tools, and technical translation of business needs. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are essential for success.

Responsibilities

Communicate complex issues in writing and verbally to management, vendors, and customers.

Provide oversight of existing processes and mitigate risk against future firm impact.

Document quality issues, performance measures, and improvements for management review.

Support leadership on multiple and overlapping projects.

Take on new challenges and reengineer existing processes for improved experience and accuracy.

Coordinate with internal and external team members to implement or support ongoing processes.

Manage process change, updating and maintaining department controls and procedures.

Meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment.

Analyze information and produce strong reports.

Participate in firm‑level mergers and acquisitions.

Communicate with other STO departments and external parties to resolve networking‑related issues.

Support successful execution of projects and initiatives aligned with LPL’s priorities; participate in UAT and script writing.

Leverage technology to automate manual work and simplify processes, creating a scalable, flexible, efficient infrastructure.

Handle escalations from the Service Center and internal teams.

Complete other assignments as required by management.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in the brokerage and financial services industry.

• 2+ years of experience working with MS Access and MS Excel (macro experience).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SQL and Alteryx for running data queries.

Communicate data‑related information to internal teams and business units.

Experience working with large data sets and extracting clean, concise data points.

Proficiency in Microsoft applications, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and BOX; preferred.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

FINRA licenses preferred.

Pay Range $20.23‑$33.71 per hour (base salary varies based on skill, experience, education, and location).
