Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience as an infection control nurse
Licensed registered nurse / practical nurse
Certification in infection prevention and control
Experience in a skilled nursing home required
Responsibilities:
Plan, evaluate, and revise the infection prevention and control system as needed.
Develop an organizational culture conducive to establishing and maintaining good infection prevention control practices.
Maintain knowledge of current medical (including CDC) regulatory and scientific procedures and literature related to infection prevention and control.
