Oversee and execute residential service work, diagnosing and resolving complex plumbing issues. Manage the installation of plumbing systems, including the assembly, positioning, and sealing of valves, pipe fittings, and pipes. Communicate effectively with customers to explain plumbing problems, offer tailored repair or replacement options, and ensure customer satisfaction. Provide additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications

Experience: At least 5+ years of progressive experience in the plumbing trade, including residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems. Licensing: Active Master Plumbing License in good standing. Additional certifications such as gas fitting, backflow prevention, or specialized plumbing certifications are highly desirable. Technical Expertise:

Mastery of all aspects of plumbing systems, including water, gas, drainage, and sewage. Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and implementing blueprints, schematics, and construction plans. Advanced knowledge of state and local plumbing codes, regulations, and industry best practices. Familiarity with complex plumbing systems such as radiant heating, water filtration, and medical gas piping.

Project Management Skills:

Proven ability to lead large‑scale plumbing projects from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Experience coordinating with other trades, contractors, and clients on multifaceted construction and renovation projects. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Leadership & Mentorship:

Demonstrated experience supervising and mentoring journeyman plumbers and apprentices, focusing on training, safety, and skill development. Ability to lead a team, delegate tasks, and maintain accountability for performance and project success.

Problem‑Solving & Analytical Skills:

Advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex plumbing issues efficiently. Strong critical thinking and decision‑making abilities, especially in high‑pressure or emergency situations.

Compliance & Safety:

Deep understanding of plumbing‑related safety protocols and OSHA regulations. Commitment to enforcing safety standards on all job sites and ensuring compliance with all relevant building and plumbing codes.

Business Acumen:

Ability to provide accurate cost estimates, negotiate contracts, and manage project finances. Familiarity with business operations, including client relations, project scheduling, and vendor management.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively interacting with customers, subcontractors, and inspectors. Strong presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex systems to clients and stakeholders.

Technology Proficiency:

Proficient with plumbing and project management software, as well as mobile technology used for tracking projects, invoicing, and reporting.

Availability & Flexibility: Willingness to respond to after‑hours emergencies and work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends as needed. Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and 3 years of driving experience. Physical Requirements

Perform work while sitting and/or standing at an individual workstation or office. Communicate verbally via phone or other communication device. Ability to stand, walk, and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone. Use hands to type, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 10 pounds. Work is usually performed in an indoor office environment. Benefits
