Student Support Professional Intervention
The SSP provides targeted literacy support for students in grades 3–5 during daily intervention blocks. While teachers focus on high‑need instruction, the SSP works with students on reading enrichment, foundational literacy skills, fluency practice, and academic support. The SSP also helps implement behavior plans, uses de‑escalation strategies, and promotes positive coping skills to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
