Responsibilities
Engage with the LTL Enterprise support team to compile customer‑level shipment data and prepare large volume of LTL RFPs. Set price points on the RFP.
Extensive pricing negotiations with LTL carriers.
Heavy Microsoft Excel work to analyze RFP results including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, custom formulas.
Analyze RFP results and provide creative recommendations to sales on the best LTL carrier and solutions that will help provide clients with savings and quality service carriers.
Responsible for helping set price margins in conjunction with sales.
Prepare data for client‑facing PowerPoint presentations.
Implement customer‑specific pricing programs in the Priority1 TMS, ensuring rates are correct and consistent with the expectations of the new pricing programs.
After pricing implementation, monitor results and communicate with sales to ensure the customer‑specific pricing programs are meeting the revenue attainment percent communicated to partner carriers.
Negotiate annual carrier rate increases on existing accounts.
Extensive interaction with sales, including attending sales calls via Microsoft Teams, and communicate with key client decision makers as the LTL pricing subject matter to help sell Priority1.
Build relationships and trust between P1 and LTL partner carriers.
