What to Expect Nestlé USA’s Manufacturing Co‑Op Program is a 4‑5‑month rotational experience designed to deepen students’ understanding of manufacturing and quality assurance. Participants will gain real‑world experience while pursuing their degree and contribute to high‑impact projects.
Primary Responsibilities As a Manufacturing Co‑Op, you will learn and grow while delivering results for Nestlé USA through key projects, systems, and people. You will be expected to complete a value‑added project within the program timeframe.
Co‑Ops will also be expected to
Assist with food safety validations to comply with Model HACCP Requirements
Complete PRP, OPRP, and CCP Audits
Lead cost‑savings projects resulting in at least $100 k annual savings
Lead problem‑solving teams to eliminate defects resulting in factory losses
Create visual standards and training materials
Requirements In 2026 we intend to hire two Co‑Ops from May‑September, one of whom will have a background in Engineering and Automation to assist QA and ME in optimizing new automation and processes coming to the factory.
Education & Skills
3.0 GPA or higher preferred
Strong communication and presentation skills
Analytical skill set for data tracking and results analysis
Team‑oriented and able to thrive in a collaborative environment
Outstanding learning capabilities
Ability to deliver results on challenging assignments
Additional Requirements
Comfortable working with people in various capacities in a factory setting
Able to work any shift, including second or third shift as required
Open to working in ambient conditions that may be very cold, wet, or warm
Ability to start the program in May 2025
