Position Summary The Project Manager is responsible for leading modular construction projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and quality expectations. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to define project scope and deliverables while maintaining strong communication throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Manager will develop and oversee detailed project plans, conduct site inspections, identify and resolve challenges, and ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. With a focus on delivering high‑quality results and exceptional customer satisfaction, this position plays a critical role in driving successful project outcomes and supporting the continued growth of our modular construction initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Lead the full lifecycle of modular construction projects—from initial planning and design through execution and final delivery—ensuring alignment with scope, budget, schedule, and quality objectives.
Partner with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to define project goals, technical requirements, and deliverables.
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
Oversee day‑to‑day project operations, conducting regular site visits to assess progress, maintain quality control, and proactively resolve challenges.
Provide clear and consistent communication to stakeholders through project updates, progress reports, and performance metrics.
Ensure full compliance with all applicable building codes, Division of the State Architect (DSA) regulations, and safety standards.
Drive a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across all project phases.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of 4 years of progressive project management experience, preferably within the modular construction or related building industry.
Demonstrated experience managing DSA‑regulated educational or institutional projects.
Proven leadership capabilities with a track record of guiding cross‑functional teams toward successful project completion.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and analytical problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency with project management and design software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit, Procore, or similar tools).
Strong commitment to quality assurance, safety compliance, and client satisfaction.
Solid understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and industry best practices.
Salary Salary:
$96,000 to $112,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, relevant experience, internal equity, and market data.
