Dura-Line, An Orbia Business is Hiring for an EHSS Coordinator in our Salt Lake City, Utah Facility STARTING PAY :$30/HR

THIS POSITION IS DAY SHIFT :MONDAY - FRIDAY, 7:00AM -3:30PM.

Job Summary The Environmental Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHSS) Coordinator will ensure a safe working environment by supporting, administering and monitoring safety policies and procedures. You will be responsible for identifying potential hazards, conducting regular safety inspections and supporting incident investigations to prevent workplace injuries. This role also involves training employees on safety practices and ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct regular safety audits, inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions

Support incident investigations, document findings, meticulously track and follow-up on corrective action plans to achieve compliance

Actively participates in the plant's efforts to engage the entire workforce to build a strong EHS culture that leads to zero harm to our employees and the environment

Collaborate with managers and supervisors to ensure safe work practices are implemented across operations

Support the execution of special safety projects and pilot programs

Elevate the plant site safety performance by improving and fostering a safety culture

Schedule and conduct fire/tornado drills, alarm tests and record the dates/results for the audits

Maintain safety records, data logs, inspection checklists, training rosters and other documents as required

Monitor and restock first-aid safety supplies, PPE stations and safety signage

Make recommendations for changes to improve the safety culture

Follow all safety requirements of this position

Abide by all policies and procedures of Dura-Line

Additional duties as required by Management

EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma (GED)

Basic familiarity with OSHA regulations

Ability to read, write and speak English fluently; Bi-lingual a Plus!

Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel (Microsoft Office)

Analytical and familiar with spreadsheets

Data Entry experience with top accuracy

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, preferred

OCCUPATIONAL AND/OR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable assistance

Ability to wear the proper PPE at all times (safety glasses, safety boots/shoes, etc)

Ability to walk around the plant floor consistently

Ability to sit/stand in an office environment

Ability to spend time around hot machinery

Ability to move from one area to another by stepping over and/or bending under objects, pushing and pulling objects

WORKING CONDITIONS

Fast paced manufacturing environment

Ability to spend time inside the faciilty and outside the facility

*Tuition reimbursement you must be a full-time employee and completeone continuous year of employment. You will receive $5,000 a year for undergrad and $7,500 a year for grad.

“The compensation for this position is typically $30/Hour. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to jobrelated knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
