About the Role We are seeking a visionary and experienced Industry Advisor for Salesforce’s Pharma+ accounts. The ideal candidate will bring a beginner’s mindset to growth in pharma, deeply understand pharma and adjacent industries such as distributors, animal health, CROs, and other life‑science business models. The role partners with sales, product, professional services, and partners to drive growth across Enterprise and Commercial Pharma accounts, aligning cross‑functional strategies, accelerating deals, and leading industry thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Customer & Event Engagements

Work directly with key HLS clients to create growth pathways

Represent Salesforce at industry events, building relationships with stakeholders

Direction for Industry Solutions & Growth Strategy

Co‑lead Industry Councils, driving deliverables such as Narratives and Market Imperatives

Influence solution creation to empower sales and success teams

Credible Thought Leadership

Analyze data and research to develop market insights and battle‑cards that shape Salesforce’s positioning

Key Activities

Co‑lead the industry council and drive cross‑functional growth outcomes

Prioritize key accounts, remove friction from deal cycles, and build trust at the VP+/C‑Suite level

Partner on content for events, marketing materials, and partner GTM activities

Support partner and sales enablement content creation

Guide market‑ready solution direction and strategy execution

Represent Salesforce at industry events, building relationships and growing the brand

Experience & Skills Required

Minimum 10 years in Sales, Leadership, Product Marketing, Sales Enablement, or Operations at Dir+, VP, or C‑Suite level in Fortune 500 enterprise software, professional services, or pharma

Deep pharma expertise with a perspective on sub‑verticals, especially clinical and regulatory compliance

Experience deploying or using Salesforce in AI‑driven industry transformation

Proven track record building and running high‑performing teams

Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills at all levels

Self‑starter who can multitask in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment

Customer‑oriented, results‑driven leadership focus

Strong understanding of Salesforce products

Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills

Experience & Skills Desired

10+ years of pharma industry‑specific experience

10 years in a high‑tech company or system integrator supporting pharma

Undergraduate or advanced degree preferred

Hands‑on leadership with a “get it done” operating style and industry association participation

Preferred Skills

Validated ability to lead digital transformation and large‑scale change management

Strong understanding of AI’s impact on pharma

Influence across cross‑functional teams

Data analysis for value‑based discussions

Action‑oriented, entrepreneurial, innovative operational mindset

Team engagement and motivation skills

Media and social media presence

Experience leading through change in a virtual environment

Salary The typical base salary range for this position is $228,130 – $305,130 annually, with location adjustments. Base pay represents only the salary component and does not include bonuses, equity or benefits.
