Project Manager – Construction
The Project Manager – Construction manages the full construction project lifecycle from initial project planning through completion. Acts as a liaison between the client and project team members regarding changes or problems and coordinates all direct communication with the client and contractors.
Responsibilities
Oversees all local operations in the assigned market, including supervision of employees and contractors to organize and ensure quality of work for fiber drops (aerial and underground) as well as in‑home installations.
Coordinates project resources and tracks project progress against established timelines and schedules.
Tracks progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators and prepares and delivers reports to management.
Actively serves as a liaison between the client and project team members regarding changes or problems.
Selects, negotiates with, and coordinates the work of vendors, contractors, or subcontractors.
Requirements
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 5 or more years of experience, including 1+ year(s) of telecommunications installation experience and in leadership positions.
Fiber drop installation experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, sit.
Ability to use hands to handle or manipulate objects.
Ability to reach with hands and arms.
Ability to climb and balance.
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Ability to maintain all safety expectations.
Ability to drive a covered vehicle.
