About the location Located in the heart of the Back Bay, Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, Boston’s glass skyscraper soars above the city as the third tallest building in Boston. The hotel’s 215 spacious guest rooms and suites feature floor‑to‑ceiling windows with views across the city. Other amenities include The Wellness Floor, a five‑star urban spa; chic restaurants such as One+One and Trifecta; and more than 10,000 sq ft of meeting and event space. One Dalton also hosts 160 private residences with unobstructed views of the city, Charles River, Boston Harbor and the Berkshires.
The Opportunity Looking for an exciting opportunity to join a world‑class team and work in one of Boston's most luxurious hotels? We are seeking individuals passionate about hospitality with a keen attention to detail to join our Guest Service team as an Overnight Bell/Door Attendant.
Responsibilities
Greets guests arriving by private car, taxi, or limo, opens their doors and welcomes them to the hotel; assists guests descending from cars; issues appropriate valet parking tickets.
Greets guests arriving on foot; opens hotel doors for all guests.
Unloads guest luggage from cars, tags it, issues claim tickets, and directs guests to the Front Desk for check‑in.
Transfers luggage to the Bell Staff and ensures smooth flow of traffic by directing cars and taxis to appropriate positions.
Provides guests with directions, recommendations, and information about the city and its attractions; hails taxis as needed; loads luggage in cars for departing guests.
Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodates special requests, resolves complaints, and assists with inquiries about hotel services, hours of operation, key personnel, and in‑house events.
Work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient reading, writing, and speaking in English.
