About The Role As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium‑sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.
In this position you will provide preventive maintenance, repairs, and support on equipment and systems within the Engineering and Technical Services function.
What You’ll Do
Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety laws.
Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems and exchange information in a clear, concise manner.
Impact the team through defined duties, methods, and tasks as described in detail.
Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You’ll Need
High School Diploma or equivalent experience, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job‑related experience, or a combination of education and experience.
Meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift or carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
