Offshore Wind Project Planner

The Role As a Project Planning Consultant at LAUTEC, you will join our international Project Controls team and work on offshore wind farm projects for our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, maintain, and optimise the project’s master schedule during both the development and construction phases.
You will play a central role in ensuring that planning information is accurate, aligned, and effectively communicated across the project organisation. By providing clear insights into progress, risks, and deviations, you will support informed decision‑making and contribute to successful project delivery.
What You Will Do
Develop and maintain the overall project schedule in line with the project model and execution strategy.
Manage schedule development, optimisation, and ongoing maintenance throughout the project lifecycle.
Define and support the project’s execution strategy from a planning perspective.
Perform schedule analyses, scenario modelling, and critical path assessments.
Ensure alignment between schedules across contractors, packages, and key stakeholders.
Collect and integrate schedule input from contractors into the master programme.
Report internally and externally on planning status, progress, and performance.
Benchmark construction performance and support forecasting activities.
Facilitate planning workshops and train project participants in effective planning practices.
Work closely with Risk Management and Cost Control to ensure integrated project controls.
Support the PMO Manager and broader project controls organisation as needed.
What Are We Looking For
Professional working proficiency in English language.
Relevant higher education, ideally a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, construction, business, or related technical discipline.
Previous experience in project planning, scheduling or project controls functions – preferably within offshore wind, infrastructure, or large‑scale energy projects.
Strong skills in Primavera P6 (or equivalent scheduling tool).
Strong understanding of risk, cost, and interface management principles.
Proven ability to communicate complex planning information clearly and professionally.
Strong analytical mindset, structured approach, and attention to detail.
Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative personality with a can‑do attitude.
