Overview
This position is responsible for performing a variety of quality control tests on products at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards. The individual must be detail oriented and focused to ensure GROB’s products meet or exceed their quality requirements. Responsibilities
Inspect various product parts using measuring instruments as needed Investigate and report defects Work with other employees to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues Track and document all testing defects and resolutions Interpret blueprints on the shop floor as needed Utilize precision measuring instruments (such as calipers, levels, indicators, micrometers, etc.) Education & Experience Requirements
High School Diploma minimum; Associates Degree preferred in Quality Assurance, Mechanical Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Engineering Technology Previous experience in the Manufacturing Industry is a plus Previous experience with CMM is a plus Ability to read and interpret blueprints Experience with gauges, micrometers, and calipers Knowledge of GD&T General Requirements
