With thousands of potential accounts in our territory, we are expanding fast and hiring a driven Sales Manager to build and lead our outbound growth engine.
** Interviews will happen in December with a start date in January 2026.
Overview The Business Development Manager is a hybrid field and outbound development role responsible for generating new business, performing on‑site estimates, and managing inbound warm leads. The growth track would include, in 1–2 years, building a small outbound sales team.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys relationship building, and can create a scalable outbound sales funnel targeting both single‑location businesses and multi‑location, blue‑chip accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Build, manage, and optimize an
outbound sales funnel
targeting thousands of potential accounts in Utah and surrounding markets.
Prospect and secure
20+ new annual accounts
in the first year, focusing on multi‑location and institutional clients (10+ location chains, schools, healthcare, hospitality, etc.).
Handle
inbound warm leads , qualify opportunities, and convert to scheduled service jobs.
Develop relationships with high‑volume clients including
5–10 location accounts
and
single‑location customers.
Drive a fast sales cycle with a high volume of opportunities and activity.
Travel locally to
client sites
to perform on‑site estimates and evaluate service needs.
Communicate scope, pricing, and service schedules clearly and professionally.
Develop expertise in commercial kitchen ventilation, hood cleaning standards, and facility maintenance requirements.
Account Management & Coordination
Ensure smooth handoff to operations and communicate effectively with field technicians and service teams.
Maintain relationships with existing clients to support recurring service schedules.
Track sales activity, pipeline, and conversions in company CRM systems.
Leadership & Growth
After 12 months of successful personal production, begin
building and managing a small outbound sales team .
Coach team members on lead generation, call scripts, sales cadence, and field estimating basics.
Contribute to developing scalable outbound processes and sales infrastructure.
Qualifications
Proven experience in
sales ,
business development , or
field estimating , ideally in a service‑based or facilities management industry.
Strong capability in outbound prospecting, cold outreach, and funnel development.
Comfortable visiting client sites, conducting walkthroughs, and learning technical concepts (commercial kitchen, hood cleaning, facility services).
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
Ability to manage a high volume of leads while maintaining quality and follow‑through.
Ambition to grow into a leadership role and manage a team.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.
