SUMMARY This role is responsible for overseeing the entire event lifecycle, from initial planning and budgeting to execution and post‑evaluation of special ticketed events held at Gillette Stadium including Boston Legacy soccer matches, international soccer friendlies, NCAA football/lacrosse, high school football and other events as assigned. This role ensures flawless event execution by understanding event goals and objectives, developing detailed project plans, coordinating with the external stakeholders, and disseminating event details and logistics to internal departments across stadium special events.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manager and execute special events hosted at Gillette Stadium, ensuring coordination between operational departments and external stakeholders for successful event operations.

Serve as the primary on‑site liaison and representative for assigned events. Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and needs, ensuring satisfaction throughout the planning and execution process.

Develop relationships and maintain positive rapport with event leadership teams and other third‑party stakeholders ensuring event success.

Develop and manage event project plans, executables and roadmap between internal operational departments and external constituents.

Manage and drive event success by ensuring that all event requirements and action items are clearly communicated, coordinated, accurately measured, and executed by internal stakeholders in accordance with project milestones and deadlines – including but not limited to pre‑event communications, fan experience programs, sponsor obligations, hospitality, game presentation, and guest services.

Collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations and Security to implement safety and risk management protocols to ensure the well‑being of event attendees, staff, and vendors.

Manage post‑event evaluations to assess success, identify areas for improvement and implement operational enhancements and as appropriate, offer recommendations for enhanced customer service touchpoints. Partner with key stakeholders to implement operational enhancements post event.

Monitor and manage event budgets to ensure financial efficiency and alignment with event goals. This includes forecasting costs, tracking expenditures, and providing regular budget reports to stakeholders.

Manage direct reports to include scheduling, payroll and performance of staff, partnering with HR as necessary.

Special projects and assignments as business dictates.

Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience

6+ years' experience managing large, complex stadium events or similar preferred.

Strong leadership and problem‑solving skills, ability to work with a team

Excellent communication and relationship building skills

Outstanding project management, planning and time management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

High integrity, ensuring confidentiality and discretion at all times

Must have attention to detail and focused concentration

Must be able to learn new tasks and complete tasks independently

Must be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow

Must possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi‑task and responsiveness

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the event schedule.
