Responsibilities
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facilities approximately daily.
Training Orientation and training provided on the job.
Essential Functions & Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Strong verbal, writing, and telephone skills; ability to give correct written instructions.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid and accurate movements.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Work Conditions
Varying weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks.
In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F+ in some areas.
Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F or higher, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Requires talking and hearing on telephone; near and mid‑range vision; depth perception; ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.
Physical Demands
Standing – most tasks performed from a standing position.
Walking – typically short distances for short durations.
Sitting – paperwork normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
Lifting – bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds; cases stacked up to 72 in. high.
Carrying – products weighing up to 30 pounds, trays of pizza dough (~12 lb), etc.
Pushing – moving trays on dollies (~24–30 in. long, force up to 7.5 lb).
Climbing – occasionally navigate stairs or ladders for maintenance.
Bending/squatting – forward bending at the waist is necessary; repeated cycles.
Reaching – continuous reach up to 72 in. for oven controls, price changes.
Hand tasks – continuous use of hands and forearms; manipulating pizza peel, cutter, boxes, etc.
Additional Information – Delivery Duties
Deliver product by car to customers, deliver flyers and door hangers.
Requires a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and access to an insured vehicle.
Navigate adverse terrain, multi‑story buildings, and private homes while carrying product.
Carry pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking, climbing, and driving.
May deliver several orders per shift and travel between store and vehicle.
