Position Overview

We are seeking a

Reporting Associate

to lead the creation and delivery of high-quality financial and investment performance reports for our clients. The ideal candidate has experience in a family office or RIA setting, understands the unique needs of high-net-worth families, and is proficient with platforms such as Black Diamond and/or Addepar. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with performance reporting and alternative investments are key to excelling in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the production and timely delivery of quarterly, annual, and ad hoc financial reports for clients.

Oversee data aggregation from custodians, investment platforms, and internal systems into our reporting platform (Black Diamond), ensuring data integrity and accuracy across all sources.

Facilitate performance reporting and analysis for both client advisory portfolios and the firm’s alternative investment vehicles, ensuring accuracy and reconciliation across asset classes.

Collaborate with client service, investment, and finance teams to incorporate financial data into clear, client-ready reports.

Review reporting materials for accuracy and clarity, tailoring presentation and insights to each client’s unique needs.

Conduct data audits, resolve exceptions, and ensure report quality and reliability.

Enhance reporting systems, templates, and processes to improve automation, scalability, and customization.

Serve as a subject‑matter expert on reporting tools and platforms and act as the primary liaison with external reporting vendors and service providers.

Maintain compliance with all regulatory, data security, and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

2–3 years of experience in financial reporting within a family office, multi‑family office, or RIA serving high‑net‑worth clients, or with a reporting platform provider such as Black Diamond or Addepar.

Proven ability to provide reporting on complex investment portfolios, complex entities and intergenerational wealth structures.

Strong working knowledge of portfolio management and performance reporting systems, including Black Diamond, Addepar, or comparable platforms.

Experience working directly with alternative investments, including limited partnerships, feeder funds, fund‑of‑funds, and SPVs.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Collaborative, team‑oriented approach with a client‑service mindset.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

Proactive problem solver with a focus on continuous improvement.

Ability to distill complex financial data into clear, client-ready insights.
