Alsum Farms in Arena, WI is hiring a full‑time Farm Operations Manager. The manager will supervise and coordinate agricultural workers, oversee year‑round crop inspection, implement and execute the farm’s agronomic plan, ensure compliance with agricultural regulations and safety policy, and strive to increase production. Responsibilities
Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of agricultural workers. Conduct year‑round inspection and evaluation of crops. Implement and execute the farm’s agronomic and production plan. Ensure compliance with agricultural regulations and safety policy. Organize daily work schedules and train personnel in planting, harvesting, pest control, and disease identification. Communicate effectively with the entire farm team daily. Maintain safe operation of farm equipment and ensure employees follow all rules and regulations. Preferably bilingual in Spanish. Qualifications
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in the agriculture industry. Valid WI driver’s license. High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience with employee management. Good leadership, decision‑making, and communication skills. Ability to work individually and as part of a team. Basic mechanical skills. Potato farming experience (preferred). Ability to climb stationary ladders and machinery. Ability to lift and move 50–100 pounds. Ability to fix and replace machinery parts with hands. Physical stamina required for laborious tasks. Excellent hand‑eye coordination for operating machinery and harvesting crops. Benefits
