About the Role
Bohler’s Warrenton, Richmond, or Herndon, VA offices are seeking a Survey Technician to support the field and CAD production efforts for projects across the Warrenton area. In this role, you’ll prepare easements, plats, boundaries, and ALTA Land Title surveys while assisting with deed compilation and base mapping. Working closely with Survey Managers, Crew Chiefs, and Project Managers, you’ll help ensure that every survey is accurate, complete, and ready to drive the next phase of development.
What You’ll Do
Prepare and process easements, plats, boundary, topographic, and ALTA Land Title surveys
Convert and compile field data into detailed survey drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
Plot deeds, establish base sketches, and conduct basic research with minimal oversight
Deliver and share data between field and office teams to maintain accuracy and alignment
Identify and communicate technical issues or data discrepancies to project leads
Support field crews as needed with calculations, sketches, or field setup coordination
Contribute to project quality and efficiency by maintaining organized, precise documentation
