Patient Scheduler - Cardiology Clinic Call Center
University Health KC – 101 Truman Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri. Full-time position, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hr/week).
We are looking for a friendly, organized, detail‑oriented individual to serve as the first point of contact for our cardiology clinic patients. As a Patient Scheduler you will guide patients through every step of their visit, from scheduling to check‑in, ensuring a seamless experience and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities
Assist patients with scheduling, check‑in, registration, and check‑out.
Manage patient flow, ensuring timely and efficient scheduling and check‑ins.
Enter and maintain accurate patient demographic and financial information in the system.
Answer phone calls, respond to patient requests, and explain health benefits, financial obligations, and discount policies.
Maintain the clinic schedule, ensuring it is organized and optimized for patient experience.
Qualifications
High‑school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of customer service experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with computer hardware/software and patient management systems.
Detail‑oriented, with a strong focus on accurate record keeping.
