This position supports the HNID‑ICAM Division at Lackland Air Force Base, TX.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Use qualitative and quantitative techniques to gather, analyze, and measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programs.
Assess programs within schedule and cost baselines, recommend viable solutions, and pursue alternative courses of action.
Communicate effectively orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, plans, etc.).
Plan, research, and analyze system acquisition regarding development, production, and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment, and recommend strategies to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
Support and develop acquisition reports (e.g., Defense Acquisition Executive Summary, Monthly Acquisition Report).
Participate in program management reviews, senior‑level meetings, and IMP/IMS reviews.
Develop briefings and schedule reports of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field with at least three (3) years of relevant experience, including three (3) years in the DoD.
OR seven (7) years of directly related experience, five (5) of which must be in the DoD.
Other Position Requirements
Proof of U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency is required.
Must complete a U.S. government background investigation.
Must obtain a Secret clearance by the date of hire.
Must be able to travel, including by air.
