Role Summary Our Electrical Hardware Technical Program Management team is seeking a proactive, detail‑oriented Lab Operations Specialist to help keep our Electronic Control Unit (ECU) R&D labs humming with smooth, consistent module and materials flow. Lab Operations Specialists bring together their organizational, logistics and process skills to ensure that our engineering labs operate efficiently with fast‑paced throughput to match our aggressive timelines. Duties include materials and ECU PCBA/module logistics, inbound/outbound coordination domestically and internationally, and establishing logistics/material‑related procedures and processes to support the engineering team. As our engineering teams and lab operations scale to support our expanded roadmap, Lab Operations Specialists are expected to help optimize existing processes and help develop new ones where required.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a wide array of stakeholders - Technical Program Managers, Purchasing Managers, Engineering Program Specialists, and Design/Component Engineering team members - to support inbound/outbound logistic requests

Drive existing materials/modules process flows via Jira tools, Slack automations, Confluence content and Google suite documentation

Help develop new processes or optimize existing processes as our labs scale with new programs within existing tool sets or new ones

Coordinate with Engineering Program Specialists on materials and modules status as well as Technical Program Managers (TPMs) and Design Engineers (DEs) on materials/modules/component requests

Maintain detailed tracking of materials and ECU statuses

Create internal reports on material/ECU logistics statuses as required

Issue and track Purchase Orders to support lab and/or other development activities for TPMs and DEs

Hand‑deliver components, ECU modules, materials, and aux equipment as needed across local offices/labs

Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs. including material lifting as needed

Qualifications

3+ years experience with hardware lab operations or relevant experience

Direct experience with inbound/outbound logistics domestically and internationally

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Proactive, creative mindset to meet urgent requests/requirements

Strong Capability to organize and prioritize different tasks

Familiarity with General Business processes, including Purchasing, logistics, and finance.

Bachelors Degree Preferred or Relevant Experience

Pay Disclosure Salary Range for California‑Based Applicants: $77,800 to $97,300 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
