GDK is seeking an experienced Retail Business Development Manager for our Club and Mass Retailers. You will be a strategic and hands‑on leader responsible for driving innovation and growth opportunities across Club and Mass retail channels, connecting Retail Sales with Marketing/Innovation teams, and overseeing the entire product introduction lifecycle.

What You Are Going To Be Doing…

Lead the creation & execution of innovation strategies for Club and Mass retailers (Costco, Sam’s, Walmart, Target), aligning retailer needs with consumer insights, market trends, and company goals.

Identify & translate consumer, culinary, and category trends into actionable innovation opportunities.

Build business cases to evaluate opportunities, including financial modeling, margin, and market analysis.

Commission & oversee cross‑functional project teams with a Commercialization Project Manager to ensure successful product development and execution.

Champion new product launches, coordinating packaging design, commercialization, and activation efforts with Marketing, Innovation, Sales, and Supply Chain teams.

Support sales teams with sell‑in presentations and tools to drive adoption.

Monitor & analyze post‑launch product performance, providing recommendations for optimization and long‑term success.

Serve as the primary liaison between Retail Sales & Marketing/Innovation teams to ensure retailer needs are addressed in innovation planning.

Guide agency & vendor partnerships to develop packaging, marketing toolkits, and customer‑facing collateral.

Drive a collaborative, consumer‑first approach to innovation, ensuring seamless alignment between departments and external partners.

Travel up to 20%.

What You Need To Have…

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Innovation, or related field. MBA or advanced degree a plus.

5+ years of experience in marketing, product development, or innovation within CPG food categories.

Experience with Club and/or Mass retail accounts preferred.

Proven success in launching new products & building long‑term growth platforms.

Strong analytical & commercial skills, expertise in financial modeling & market evaluation.

Ability to lead cross‑functional teams & manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Excellent written & verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence across organizational levels.

Highly organized, detail‑oriented, & able to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, & Excel (heavy users preferred).
