Job Summary As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will interpret vehicle issues, provide repair estimates, and guide customers through service options while maintaining Crown Motors’ reputation for customer excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction

Greet customers warmly and professionally upon arrival.

Listen to customer concerns, gather detailed information about vehicle issues, and record their requests.

Provide clear and accurate explanations of vehicle conditions, repair options, and cost estimates.

Service Coordination

Create detailed service orders and relay customer concerns to technicians.

Maintain regular communication with technicians to track progress and update customers on repair timelines.

Ensure all services align with manufacturer recommendations, warranty guidelines, and dealership standards.

Upselling and Recommendations

Advise customers on recommended maintenance services to enhance vehicle safety and performance.

Present promotions, dealership services, and special offers to customers.

Documentation and Software

Accurately document repair orders, customer interactions, and vehicle service history in the dealership's management system.

Monitor and manage appointments, ensuring smooth workflow within the service department.

Quality Assurance

Conduct follow-ups with customers to confirm their satisfaction with completed services.

Collaborate with the service team to resolve any customer complaints effectively.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or vocational training in automotive services is a plus.

Previous experience as a service writer, advisor, or in a customer-facing automotive role.

Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair terminology.

Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Proficiency with dealership management systems and basic computer software.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and move within the service department for extended periods.

Capability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
