We are a leading provider of innovative consumer electronics, committed to delivering high‑quality products that enhance everyday life.

Must have experience in Wholesale CPG Hardgood products, preferably electronics!

Job Summary:

The Sales and Category Leader (or Category Director/Manager) will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and category plans to maximize sales, market share, and profitability within assigned categories and retail accounts. This role requires a deep understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and retail dynamics to optimize product assortment, pricing, promotion, and shelf placement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key clients, distributors, and major retail partners to ensure product placement and drive sales volume.

Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and promotional activities to secure favorable terms and meet or exceed sales quotas and revenue goals.

Partner closely with internal teams, including marketing, supply chain, finance, and product development, to ensure seamless execution of plans, product availability, and new product launches.

Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits to clients.

Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improve sales strategies.

Prepare and present sales proposals and negotiate contracts to secure new business and enhance existing partnerships.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and client interactions in the ERP system; provide regular reports to management on sales performance and forecasts.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.

7+ years of experience in Consumer Products Goods Wholesale sales, preferably in the consumer electronics sector, but any experience in “hard goods” (fashion, home goods, accessories accepted).

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.

Self‑motivated with a results‑driven approach.

Team player and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Experience with AMT ERP systems and CRM or similar systems a plus.

Able to work in the office –

no remote working .

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong Excel skills required.
