The Fulfillment Operations Analyst is crucial in overseeing North American supplier manufacturing from a supply chain and logistics perspective. This position demands strategic thinking, effective leadership, and the capability to manage multiple issues simultaneously across various plants and suppliers.
Responsibilities
Work with Ascent and Pega tools to support existing operating plans and schedules without causing production losses.
Act as a change agent, finding efficiencies in current state operations to enable new tools for evaluating supply risks.
Apply a continuous improvement mindset to seek and mitigate premium costs. Find cost‑efficient means to support production schedules and lead initiatives to reduce premiums in collaboration with MP&L Logistics.
Communicate and define risk as needed; elevate to leadership and report issues with solutions or assistance requirements.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Purchasing, Supplier Technical Assistance (STA), Supplier Operations Team (SOT), Product Development, and plants.
Manage critical suppliers and maintain accountability to Ford supplier expectations and Global Terms.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or supply chain organization.
Knowledge of or experience with Ford production planning and execution.
Proven track record in supply chain operations (inbound flows, packaging, outbound flows, diversity, demand & supply planning, in‑plant logistic operations, warehouse management).
Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Bias for action in identifying and solving issues to build horizon.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong data analytical skills to gather data, identify root causes, trends and insights, and recommend operational improvements on Supplier Delivery Performance.
Storytelling capabilities with data to enable data‑driven decision making.
Knowledge of Ford MP&L systems (CMMS, Super G, GCP, MCPV, etc.).
Experience with Alteryx or similar data analysis tools.
Knowledge of SAP.
