Program Manager - Crisis - Center-Based Services
Center-based crisis services are crisis stabilization programs that provide an alternative to hospitalization. These programs offer treatment in a non-hospital setting that focuses on individualized care for those experiencing psychiatric/substance use crisis including detox.
Drive the operational success of the crisis stabilization programs, ensuring high-quality, continuous, and integrated behavioral health care for consumers of Highlands Community Services. This position provides oversight to staff in the day-to-day functions of the units and completes tasks such as chart reviews, overseeing reimbursement of services, completing insurance authorizations, maintaining consumer referral lists, staff scheduling, and interacting with community partners to educate and promote positive relationships. The position supervises QMHP, Clinicians, and Residential Technicians.
Position Specifics Location: Abingdon, VA
Status: Full-time, Exempt, Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
Compensation: $65,000.00 – commensurate with education/experience $5,000 Retention Bonus
Education: Master’s degree eligible to seek Licensure for Supervision in Virginia or LPC, LCSW, LMFT.
Required License: Active license in the state of Virginia as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT and previous or current certification as a Virginia Certified Pre-Screener.
Experience: Three (3) years’ clinical experience.
Preferred: Experience with in-patient or 23-hour observation - crisis unit.
