Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Hourly Rate: $25–$30 per hour ($52,000–$62,400 annually based on a 40 Hr. work week) + Overtime when authorized by Leadership

On-Call Pay: $150 per scheduled on-call shift

Paid Time Off: Start with 48 hours, increasing to 168 hours with tenure

Paid Holidays: 7 annually (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas)

401(k) Match: 5% employer contribution

Your Role as a Commercial HVAC Preventative Maintenance Technician

Conducting regular inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and calibration of HVAC equipment, such as air handlers, boilers, chillers, and cooling towers, to prevent costly repairs and downtime.

Identifying and diagnosing potential issues or malfunctions in HVAC systems.

Performing minor repairs and assisting with complex repairs under the guidance of service technicians.

Maintaining accurate and detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.

Managing and maintaining inventory of necessary materials and equipment.

Communicating clearly and consistently with customers, dispatchers, and team members.

Providing exceptional customer service, including advising clients on maintenance and care.

Maintaining the company service vehicle, tools, and inventory stock while adhering to company driving policies.

Adhering to all safety regulations, procedures, and company standards.

Completing work orders and service reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Tools & Support: Fully stocked company service van, company-issued iPad and iPhone, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided.

Qualifications

2–5 years of demonstrated experience in commercial HVAC systems

EPA Certification

Physical Requirements

Ability to climb and descend ladders while carrying up to 30 lbs.

Lift up to 75 lbs. and maneuver in confined spaces (e.g., crawlspaces, attics)

Willingness to wear required PPE

Additional Requirements

Flexibility to work overtime and travel as needed for training, meetings, or client-site visits

Ability to meet enhanced security clearance requirements

Subject to drug, background, and driver’s license checks

Skills & Abilities

Proficiency in servicing, installing, and troubleshooting commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems

Ability to perform routine maintenance and recommend preventative repairs

Familiarity with light commercial equipment

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Experience with industry software is a plus but not required
