Summary
The Fuels Product Scheduler Manager will lead and direct a group of highly motivated and skilled product schedulers. This group will provide fuel supply to multiple terminals while managing bulk and rack inventories at the most cost‑effective levels and ensuring we always have the capabilities to meet the needs of our stores. Responsibilities include daily, weekly, and monthly tasks that demand exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively.
Qualifications
Provide direction, guidance and leadership to a team of Product Schedulers involved with managing 7 billion gallons of fuel to 7‑Eleven/Sprintway stores annually, across >4,500 stores, 180+ fuel terminals and 9 pipeline systems.
Strong ability to prioritize time based on business impact, ensuring operations are timely and cost‑effective while optimizing monetary value.
Conduct trend and cost analysis; review supply forecasts for contract compliance and manage allocations for store demand and terminal throughput obligations.
Proactively identify commercial opportunities with Fuel Traders to support supply needs at 27 bulk and multiple rack terminals via truck, rail, pipeline and waterborne transport modes.
Present supply alternatives and collaborate with the Director of Fuels Supply Operations and the VP of Fuels Supply and Trading to formulate and execute strategic and operational objectives.
Work cross‑functionally with the Transportation team for execution of 2,000+ deliveries per day and with the Pricing team to ensure alignment on business strategies and initiatives.
In‑depth understanding of system setups with carriers, terminals and supply partners; work closely with Accounting and Mid‑office teams to verify costs, volumes and reconcile variances.
Manage projects to improve operational efficiencies, processes and best practices.
Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred). 5+ years of relevant work experience and 5+ years of management experience.
