$72,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr
Scope The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for driving revenue growth for JK Moving Services by focusing 60% of their time on generating new business opportunities and 40% on managing and maintaining existing client relationships. The BDR will identify, qualify, and nurture prospects while also providing account management support to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and growth. This dual-focus role supports both the acquisition of new clients and the expansion of services with current clients, directly contributing to the success of the Business Development team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management (moving, logistics, or related industry a plus).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships.
Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Familiarity with CRM platforms, pipeline management, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
Duties and Responsibilities Business Development (60%)
Research, identify, and engage with potential clients through outbound calls, emails, networking, and events.
Maintain a steady pipeline of qualified prospects to meet or exceed team revenue goals.
Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials.
Accurately maintain prospect and lead information in the CRM system.
Represent JK Moving Services at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions.
Track personal metrics (outreach, conversion, and booked appointments) to align with company goals.
Collaborate with the Business Development Manager on strategies for target markets and outreach.
Account Management (40%)
Serve as a point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring timely responses and high-quality service.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Coordinate with internal departments (operations, customer service, sales) to address client needs.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to expand services within existing accounts.
Assist in preparing and delivering client performance reviews and reports.
Monitor client satisfaction and escalation issues when necessary to ensure retention and service quality.
Support renewal and contract discussions under the guidance of the Business Development Manager.
