Responsibilities
Maintains laboratory environment and documentation to ensure ISO 17025 compliance for UL DAP accreditation.
Ensures equipment is properly calibrated and maintained for ISO 17025 compliance.
Updates Quality Management System comprising scope of policies and procedures.
Performs product testing related to UL code specifications and QA/QC requirements.
Supports new product development through testing and prototyping.
Oversees and participates in testing and evaluation of product portfolio according to regulatory compliance and customer needs.
Works effectively as a team member by communicating clearly and efficiently to provide innovative solutions.
Monitors regulatory standards to ensure management system, test methods, and production procedures stay compliant.
Internal auditing and leading annual UL DAP audits and reporting.
Requirements
Associates Degree
3-4 years' experience with industry specific regulatory standards (ASTM, ISO, UL, RoHS, etc.)
Experience with the process of obtaining an ISO/IEC 17025 certification.
Knowledge of environmental sciences best practices, LEED initiatives, a basic ability to interpret OSHA regulations and overall environmental impact awareness of a laboratory facility
Capable of accurately analyzing, interpreting, and recording data in accordance with guidelines
Strong mechanical and problem-solving aptitude.
