Senior Professional Business Analyst

Summary Your role in our mission Play a critical part in ensuring Gainwell is meeting our clients’ objectives in important areas.
Plans, designs and recommends business processes to improve and support business activities.
Analyzes and documents client’s business requirements and processes and communicates these requirements by constructing conceptual data and process models, including data dictionaries and volume estimates from organization.
Creates test scenarios and develops test plans to be used in testing the business applications in order to verify that client requirements are incorporated into the system design. Assists in analyzing testing results throughout the project.
Provides input into developing and modifying systems to meet client needs and develops business specifications to support these modifications.
Facilitates meetings with clients to gather and document requirements and explore potential solutions.
Participates in technical reviews and inspections to verify ‘intent of change’ is carried out through the entire project
Assists in analyzing testing results in all phases.

Provides time estimates for project related tasks
Assists with developing the methods and procedures required to identify whether current business goals and objectives meet organizational needs
Distributes work and guides other team members. Coordinates business analyst tasks on information technology projects and provides project team member guidance and support. May plan, allocate and monitor the work of other business analysts.
Works independently to drive a project and is a Subject Matter Expert on sub-system.
What we’re looking for Experience & Education
Minimum6 years of Business Analysis experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
At least 3 years of healthcare industry experience, preferably in Medicaid or Medicare
Requirements Engineering & Analysis
Skilled in requirements elicitation through stakeholder interviews
Experienced in requirements determination using structured techniques for documentation, analysis, evaluation, and validation
Adept at decomposing high-level information into detailed technical requirements
Abstracting low-level information into business-relevant insights
Distinguishing between stakeholder requests vs. actual needs
Differentiating requirements from solutions
Classifying and prioritizing requirements by value and feasibility
Applying object-oriented analysis withUML modeling techniques
Process Modeling & Optimization
Proficient in business process modeling for both current-state and future-state workflows
Identifies transformation opportunities and process gaps

Experienced in requirements traceability and change management processes

Conducts ambiguity analysis to ensure consistent understanding across users, designers, and testers
Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong Presentation skills to present to management and customers
Good Personal computer and business solutions software skills

CBAP or CCBA certification
Strong leadership skills to coordinate, oversee and lead team/project members
Willingness to travel
Specialized skills and experience – preferred
Software Development Life Cycle experience with (multiple methodologies)
Requirements Gathering and creating deliverable documentation
Developing structured user manuals and training
Visualization modeling
Business rules modeling
Develop and executing acceptance test plans.
Requirement Traceability
Experience working with project and change management tools such as Visio Flow, ALM, iTrace, rTRACE.
Experience with SQL queries
Experience in Health Care/Health Insurance
What you should expect in this role
This position is a hybrid position and requires candidate to reside within commuting (driving) distance of Tallahassee, FL without needing to relocate.
Remote from continental US locations
might be
considered for fully qualified candidates,subject to client approval of the candidate’s resume.
Office hours would be 8a – 5p eastern time.
Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation
