Our 11‑bed general medical/surgical ICU at Mercy San Juan provides excellent patient care via hourly assessments.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
Supervises nursing staff assigned to a particular shift. Assigns patients to available nursing staff, taking into consideration the patient’s condition and the employee’s skill level.
Assesses, monitors, and educates nursing staff on patient care. Institutes emergency procedures as necessary.
Anticipates staffing needs and moves proactively to respond to them.
Oversees stocking of supplies and updates patient records to ensure the nursing floor is ready for subsequent shifts.
Job Requirements
Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN). Preferred: Current BSN or related healthcare field.
Minimum of two (2) years of clinical (critical care) experience as a Registered Nurse.
Current CA RN licensure.
Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association.
Location Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center, 384‑bed level 2 Trauma Center, Carmichael, California.
Pay Range $66.53 - $85.94 per hour.
