Job Description
The Customer Supply Chain Analyst leads assigned customer supply chain strategy development and execution through direct interaction with customer supply chain business partners.
Responsibilities include:
Assists with customer supply chain strategy development and execution through direct interaction with customer supply chain business partners, managing responsibility for smaller customers.
Collaborates and partners with internal cross‑functional teams to identify customer‑facing supply chain efficiency opportunities and drive proactive organizational solutions, assisting with claims team Smartsheet identifying validity of deductions for designated customers.
Leads customer scorecard development – tracking and data collection for assigned customers. Builds both internal scorecards and manages customer‑delivered scorecards. Responsible for developing insights and action plans from analysis and leads organization alignment and communication of learning with customers, collaborating to drive overall scorecard rating improvements.
Develop reporting and scorecarding through data received via customer supply chain portals, assisting team with information supporting progress in customer deliveries and reduction of fees/fines. Assists with customer allocation tool, designated as back‑up to manage tool when needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Statistics, Operations Research, or other quantitative business discipline.
Two years of experience in Customer Supply Chain preferably within a CPG industry.
Proficient understanding of fundamental business management and supply chain principles and concepts.
Thorough grasp of key internal and customer forecasting, order generation, and order fulfillment processes.
Effective communication skills with an ability to collaborate cross‑functionally, build relationships and excel in a team environment are essential.
Solid negotiation and customer relationship management skills required.
Demonstrated analytical approach to management of supply chain interface between supplier and the customer, root‑causing constraints and service issues, and providing solutions.
Ability to understand impact of decisions and changes on end‑to‑end supply chain and to convert strategy into results, able to quickly identify and resolve problems.
Ability to build strong relationships internal and external to the business.
