Supply Chain Data Analyst

in based in

Nashville, TN.

Your role will specialize in designing and delivering business intelligence solutions, encompassing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data visualization, and data analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements, design scalable and efficient solutions, and ensure the availability of insightful visualizations and reports. The position focuses on driving data-driven decision-making and empowering the organization with actionable insights. The role may involve implementing data products using classification models, time series analysis, and computer vision techniques in some cases to solve operational problems, and you will be responsible for leveraging data-driven insights to optimize NAM supply chain planning processes.

Responsibilities

Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and potential problems.

Utilize Databricks for big data processing and analytics.

Extract and manipulate data from multiple source systems using SQL, Python, and Spark.

Develop and maintain business data objects and visualizations to support decision-making processes.

Develop and apply statistical and machine learning models to predict, classify, or segment data.

Acquire, clean, and transform data from various sources to ensure quality and consistency.

Optimize models to improve their performance and relevance in the business context.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand problems and objectives that can be addressed with data analytics.

Web systems analysis, design and development, back-end / front-end considerations; assess user experience based on UX/UI.

Identify system and workflow requirements, and create software specifications from a business perspective.

Requirements

Strong experience in developing and deploying classification models and time series models.

Proficient in Python, SQL, and Apache Spark.

Experience with Databricks and Tableau.

Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, data analysis, and exploratory data techniques.

Experience working with large-scale datasets and implementing data preprocessing and feature engineering techniques.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into actionable data science solutions.

Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.

Programming Languages: Python, SQL, Spark. Platforms: Databricks. Data visualization: Tableau, Business Objects, Power BI.
